Autohero tuned with PSI
Last saturday team Autohero invaded Portland Speed Industries for a magical
tuning collaboration. We brought down 3 cars, my s14, rob primo's s14 and a
highly built sr powered z32. The experience PSI provided was outstanding.

I could not thank Jason and the team at PSI enough for their service and hospitality.
I have always been weary of taking my car anywhere but Autohero but the one thing
lacking there is a real tuning service, other than the late night freeway tuning.
The PSI shop is very cool and fancy. While I was there it felt like I was
still at Autohero in a sense, I knew we were in good hands and everything
would get done correctly, it was highly comforting.

It was a strange feeling having my car on the dyno for the first time, quite the
mix of emotions for me. I didnt know what to expect and I was hoping my
car was going to hold together. It would have sucked to have some sort of
stupid failure like a electrical issue, over heating, or blowing out couplers.

My car put down 297hp/293 torque. I wasnt shooting for any numbers really,
I just wanted everything smoothed out so I had no more rough spots.
That was accomplished and it runs much better now. My boost was
only increased by a pound I think, its around 15 or 16 right now. We
plan on taking my car back down soon with more mods like turbo,
264 cams, HG/studs, built valvetrain, and port/polished head.

Then we will really go in on tuning it perfect.
Now I should be able to do some real drift!
